Step One
Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals, or holiday_wishes) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's

1) Artwork for my fics- I would welcome anyone that could do artwork based on my stories.

2) Fics- I would love fics in either the Batman/Joker, Harry/Draco, Harry/Snape or Harry/Draco/Snape fandoms.I also have a couple of friends that write Brian/Justin. That would be fine, too.

3) Anything that you made yourself.
Due to finances, many of my lj friends are getting homemade gifts. I would love the same in return.Whatever your talent- I would welcome a gift from you.

4) Refridgerator magnets- with Amiel, I always have things to pin on the fridge. I never have enough magnets, or they break. I would love unusual magnets. I have a lovely snarry one that I got as a gift last year.

5) Paid LJ time. I really like having a paid LJ. 2 months is only 5.00(I already have a permenant Insanejournal account)

6) Lipbalm- I love flavored lip balm and now so does Amiel. I can ALWAYS use lipbalm

7) Stuff for the bath. I spend most evenings sitting in the tub reading. I would love bath salts, bubble bath, bath oil(I have very dry skin).

9) Tea- I love tea. I particularly love Stash and Celestial Seasons holiday teas But, I also love Stash teas of India, or any spice or mint tea. I am not fond of fruit teas. Everything that was sent last year has been drunk long ago. No earl gray, please.

10) Again- it is not necessary, but if you want to send anything for Amiel. He loves coloring books.

I purposefully put inexpensive things on this list, because it is truly the thought that counts. If you want to fufill a wish and don't have my email- leave a comment and I will get you my email address.
